The three Rotary Clubs in Poole have joined forces once again to stage their annual Technology Tournament.  It is open to secondary school pupils entered via their schools.

Teams of four students have to design, construct and test a working model for a purpose given to them on the day from a set of materials supplied to them.

​

They are judged on their:

• Planning and teamwork

• Problem analysis

• Design and development

• Realisation

​

Each model is tested by the judges to see how it works operationally.

​

There are different age groups for participants

This year's event is being sponsored, for the first time by locally based, specialist marketing company CODA Communications.
