MEMBERSHIP
The Club is the basic work unit within Rotary. Each Club is different, so it's important to find the one that suits you.
Poole Bay Rotary offers a range of ways for men and women to become involved with Rotary.

Club Member
We welcome new members and invite you to come along to one of our meetings and find out for yourself more about Rotary and our Club, firsthand. All members are members of both Poole Bay Rotary and Rotary International.
The Tuesday meetings started when the Club was was formed in 1984, when we met on a weekly basis. We are currently meeting weekly on-line via ZOOM until we can return to the Riviera Hotel (Burnaby Road, Alum Chine, Bournemouth BH14 8JF), Meetings start at 6.30pm, although we normally congregate in the bar before moving through to the Britannic Suite. We start with a Club business session, before listening to an invited speaker, or some other activity. We finish with a one-course sit down buffet.

Business Partner
Becoming a Business Partner is one of several ways in which local businesses can play a part in Rotary. The annual donations from Business Partners help cover the running costs of our various fundraising projects, such as the Christmas Santa Train and the annual Toddlethon. This means that 100% of the other monies donated to the Club can be passed on, in full, to charities and good causes. They also cover the costs of staging various events during the year, including our Youth Competitions.

Corporate Membership
Corporate Membership is ideal where a company is interested in Rotary, but one person may not be able to attend Club meetings on a regular basis. One employee becomes a full member of Rotary, with up to three nominated substitutes able to attend Club meetings in his/her place. This enables you to be actively involved in Club activities and projects which can count towards your Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) goals.
