POOLE BAY ROTARY

Our experience and skills in community work place us in an ideal position to help a wide variety of organisations such as local charities, schools, and environmental groups. Since 1984 we have raised over £350,000 for a variety of local and international charities.  

The last time we added it up, we estimated that we gave over 1,400 hours of volunteer service in one year to the local community. 

We will be returning to meet in person, fortnightly on a Tuesday at the Riviera Hotel (Burnaby Road, Alum Chine). There we gather in the bar (from around 6pm) before moving into the Britannic Suite.  There is a short business session, a speaker or some other activity before enjoying a meal together (you choose what you want, when ordering your drink, from our special bar snack selection).  The atmosphere is relaxed, informal (compared to many more traditional Rotary clubs) with meetings finishing around 8.30 pm.
